1.) Regarding the state of the housing market I devote a substantial part of my day listening to financial reports on Sirius. Verdict? Things are bad. I am not an expert though.

2.) I'm not surprised that this guy is a scammer. As I previously stated I am trying to warn others. No I have not been burned. I'm smarter than that. Why am I devoting time to this? Because I'm a salaried truck driver with nothing better to do. In other words I'm bored.

3.) My  is exactly what I would be doing, in a very sarcastic manner, if we were talking in person instead of trading insults on a message board!

1) Listening to what others say on some financial report is all well and good. But at the end of the day, a good day at Disney World never makes headlines. I, however, deal in real estate every single day from 3 years ago to now and God knows when. When you can sit here and say 'the verdict? things are bad' shows a very short sighted and spoon fed opinion because things are NOT as bad as everyone says.

Go tell a few of your friends that your local grocery store is quickly running out of bottled water. Then go to the store a few days later, and lo and behold, they prolly will be. ;)

2) You might as well warn others not to stick forks into toasters, cos it should be as obvious.

3) Your  was irony cos you started with one in response to me, but ended by 'warning' me not to laugh at people's misfortune. Which you completely misplaced the context of me laughing because I would never laugh at someone's misfortune.

I'm not 'trading insults on a message board'....and I'm certainly not the one sending nasty PMs. That's you.

What do you expect? I start a thread warning people about a potential scam and you came in with thinly veiled insults. I've looked over your post and it's really no surprise.

Don't like the PM? Report it!

Here is one of the latest posts from the link above. It sounds like Armando or someone he knows responding..

Wow I was looking for the Montelongo Website because I watch the show, and decided to google it and found this hit, I have read some of the comments on this site and it appears some of you have way too much time on your hands , and are so judgemental and negative , but I’m sure some of you all can do it better right? It’s crazy how mainly in America there is so much greed, envy, and jealousy, if someones making money or succesfull {DON’T HATE , CONGRATULATE} and if you dont agree with it, great don’t support their business but seriously it looks kind of pathetic to be an adult who continuously revisits a website over and over to bash on them and if you don’t like the show, change the chanell no one is forced to watch it and if don’t want to buy the product then don’t and I personally think Armando and Veronica should be extremely proud that they are filling the minds of many people even if they are pathetic and who have too much time on their hands , whether you love them or hate them they are still on your minds and their names in your mouth LMAO Let me make a prediction some of you with way to much time on your hands will try to post comments talking very nice about me and my thoughts and lack of punctuation, but seriously I won’t loose any sleep over it,and here goes another prediction I can guarantee I will not revisit this sight again to read your replies to my comment , it’s just not that important and if any of you are bored you can always volunteer your spare time at a shelter or @ your local YMCA or I don’t know if you see a piece of trash on the floor instead of starting a website about it and posting comments just bend over pick it up ,put it in the trash , and feel like a hero lol its a wonder why so many Americans die from the number one killer every year : Cardiac failure, and the main cause ; High Blood Pressure , there are things way more important in your life to get all up about, just thought I would enlighten all you nice folks on my views , but seriously sometimes we have to take a time out sit back and look @ a situation and think is it really worth all this effort ? do I feel great about myself after I said what I said or did what I did ,How will this improve me as a person or improve my life or the life of others, Internet bullying AND #### talking is seriously out of hand ,ok guys I just spent 5 minutes way too much on this subject well to everyone who reads this good luck with everything in life and to Armando and Veronica good luck, love your show ,and Shake them haters off!!!

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

What did I expect? I expected you to have more of a working knowledge of what you were talking about, instead of another Chicken Little routine....

Newsflash: there's no easy way to make fast money! Shocker, innit?

I think you missed the initial point. All he was trying to do was tell people not to fal in the trap and buy this scammers books or watch his TV shows.

But why? Because he decided to? he doesn't even have the books himself, so how is he the expert on what to warn people to do?

If someone is stupid enough to buy that series, then more power to Armando...cos a sucker and his money are soon parted.

I Agree. Now if someone was conned out of their money then that is a different story.

There have been a lot of recent advertisements on the local TV and radio here in NY trying to persuade people into buying their services or information on flipping houses. These are all misleading due to the housing market slump. The days of flipping houses for a quick and easy profit are long gone. Beware on get fast rich scams, nothing in life comes easy.

Better check with Angry Bunny on that one. I think she may actually work with Armando. She's sure quick to rush to his defense.

I love that guy! I watch all his Flip This House episodes. I loved the one he called the cat house. I just enjoy watching him get all bent out of shape about stuff. I also like watching his wife do things behind his back just to tick him off. It's hilarious. He sure does know how to flip a house. I've watched hundreds of those flip shows and I'd say Armando is one of the best in the business.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

!!UNSUBSTANTIATED RUMOR ALERT!!

One of the episodes has him flipping a house to his Mother-In-Law.

FRAUDULENT SALES………Steve and Mike. I was just told about this website from my brother. Unfortunately I am related to Armando through marriage. However thankfully we don’t share blood. I am not an avid viewer of the Television show, however on occassion I have seen it. There was one show in particular, I believe this was the show where they purchased the home from a flipper who had gotten in over his head. Veronica sold a home to a woman with red hair, who was purchasing the home for her son who was moving to San Antonio from California. The lady got out of what appeared to be a silver colored Dodge vehicle. This woman was Veronica Montelongo’s mother Maria, pretending to be a buyer. I am sure that there were several other shows that were doctored as well. Just food for thought…

Caveat emptor, always.

I don't get why you are so bothered that WideAwake started this thread. So he wants to say the guy is bogus... so what?

The only problem is that when you flip a house you need at least 2 things 1.) A Seller and 2.) You guessed it, A BUYER!

Isn't that bit obvious?

You would think so. If you hear the commercial though the statement is that it's a great time to flip houses. I think there may still be areas of the country where this is true, but overall this is a horrible market. If a person had the money to invest long term they could probably do very well. Short term is a different story.

Erm, overall, the mkt isn't that bad.

And I guess you're issue is you seem upset that there's no 'quick fix' or easy money. Not everyone is an 'investor'. I knew a guy who bought 13 houses at the height of the mkt and took out risky crazy mtgs for each that were so high, he couldn't even rent the house for half the monthly payment. Then after liquidating his personal assets to save his 'investments', he wound up defaulting on each of the homes and eventually everything was foreclosed on.

He called himself an 'investor'....I called him a f(*&(*ing moron trying to jump on a bandwagon. One that he clearly didn't understand.

Buying some dodgy ebook is not going to hold the 'magic answers'. If you expect it to....well, I got a bridge to sell ya too

My "issue" is that scam artists like this are able to take advantage of people. This guys day is coming. This post is merely intended to shed light on the fact that there is no easy way to make money. If i stop one person from buying it I'm happy.

P.S. I'd watch laughing at other people's misfortune, even if it was self inflicted.

The bottom line is, they only take advantage of the ppl who allow them to , hence buying their stuff
