Widow sues pub for drink driving death

My brother was dating a girl in Cleveland, Ohio who was stabbed to death by a Taco Bell manager. The manager was pissed because my brother's g/f was trying to walk up to the drive through and buy food (nice huh?). My brother's g/f had been drinking heavily that night. The man who owned the bar where she had been drinking settled his portion of the lawsuit for 100K. We never did find out how much Taco Bell paid out.

What a dumb ### the manager is. We used to do that all the time considering a lot of places only have drive through open at night..

The caveat was that the manger's sister was kicking her in the head as she was dying.

You keep in bringing this up. Is it because I posted the demographics of the poorest cities in America.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Corporal punishment is the only way to fix stuff like this up. Send them to Singapore. Watch how their attitude would change after a week of being there.

Ah yes Singapore. We could surely prop up that "ailing" nation by exporting our criminals for punishment.

Maybe we can send them to the UK where the judge will most likely side with the assailant.

The detail here is:

The lawsuit was dismissed by Justice Alan Blow in November last year and Mrs Scott's appeal before the Full Court began yesterday.

You cannot sue for BS like that there. The Other court will also throw the case out.
