Patience, people. This is all a process, whethere we like it or not. Disrupting that process usually doesn't generate much of anything.

I personally believe that the RFE trick is useless. The best thing is to just wait it out. Interupting people with phone calls trying to get your case done faster just slows every case up and will get your case assigned to the problem stack ( yes there is one ) and make it actually take longer.

Exactly!! Wait it out. Want to know the moment you're approved? Set up email notification at the USCIS's Case Status Online. You can have the email sent straight to your cell phone. Almost all cell phones have email addresses and they come in as a text message. Here's some examples from the most popular carriers in the states:

If you set this up then the moment USCIS does something with your petition you'll know it, provided you have your cell phone with you at all times!

Case status email is badly broken when it comes to your NOA2 from CSC . My application is half way to Lagos and USCIS still says pending almost a month later. Keep looking in your mail box you may be suprised .

Must be something recent because it's how I first found out on March 7th of my approval from the CSC. Still, I checked the online page once or twice a day after I started seeing others with similar time lines getting approved. It became a ritual almost. I got my hard copy on the 14th. I guess if I hadn't found out until then it just would have meant that my wait to get an NVC case number would have just been that much shorter!

Somtetimes I love this site becuase of the helpful people and sometimes I cannot stand it becuase of the judgmental ones. We are all going through difficulties due to this situation, some of us more than others. Some of us have a abundance of patience and some of us have none. Some of us go insane waiting on this process to see completion some of us are already there But all in all we all are waiting and suffering becuase we do not have our family members here.

I do not believe calling the RFE line to get information is holding up anyone elses case just as I do not believe that "not" calling if you do not have a RFE makes you "RIGHT" But just like everyone else this is just what I think. But really as long as you have satisfied your own conscience that should be all that matters! Get a grip people and lets try to encourage one another instead of always beating each other down over pettiness!

I tried RFE trick with CSC yesterday and got the same answer like you. I didn't really receive a RFE, but I know I will, since I have not include some MUST HAVE documents with my application. Still, they told me to not call them and just wait too. I then said I waited for 5months and I just want to get prepared since RFE will be coming to me. The officer said it is not your turn and you will have at least 2 more months of wait time!! I mean, I am a Nov filer, so shouldn't it be my turn soon?!

ur time and sgrs time should be comin soon.. i would say anohter 3 weeks or so.. dont listen to them they are bunch of BS! im serious... so keep faith and patience.. and u will get it.. it has to cme soon.. dont wory. keep urslef busy with life.. i nknow its so tough and no one else can understand the pain we all go thru.. but we r one day closer to being with the love of our life!!!!

Well, I am of the opinion that calling unnecessarily(before 210 days) and talking to the adjudication officers is taking them away from working on someones case. Please have patience and wait your turn. If you feel you qualify for an expedite, then by all means try it. But please, if you haven't been waiting at least 210 days, then don't be calling and wasting someone else's time.
