So my ten year reunion is tomorrow night. It's kinda weird. I went to a small private school (graduated with 100 people)...so I still know most of the people. They have all seen me and I've seen them. I am not really nervous, more excited I guess....

I am the HEAVIEST I've been in my life..so that's not so cool -but I was never "thin" in HS so I don't really care.

What was ya'lls (if applicable) like?? Any good stories?

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

Lots of drinking. Take a taxi home.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

Mine hasn't come along yet...I graduated in 98 so 2 years left! Well my graduating class was 12 people.... private school.

I see a couple of them often, I know what a lot of the rest of them are up to. Some people made something of their lives, others still forget high school ended a long time ago. ;) But I'll look forward to our 10 year reunion.

And, it's always fun when the girls who had a million boyfriends or boys constantly had crushes on them are not even married yet, but you are, the one who had no b/f's back then! :jest: It's true, that among 4 friends of mine, we 4 were the closest in our class...they were more of the "pretty ones" and more flirty than me, and they all had so many guys crush on them, but it didn't hapeen to me. I thought they'd all be married before me (and they want to be, they aren't purposely avoiding it). But I beat them all to it, mwahahaaa. Nice guys/girls do NOT always finish last.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Tee Hee.

The thing about me in Hs - I was the "smart athletic" girl. I wasn't the most popular...at all, but everyone knew me and liked me ok...I mean I was too nerdy probably...I didnt drink, didn't go to parties. I was #3 in my class. I went to an amazing college - and at age 28 have two masters degrees.

The girls who were popular (and often quite mean) went to crappy schools and either flunked out, or got frou frou majors that were basically "go get married" degrees.

They are all doing GREAT! They have money, husbands, kids...they look amazing still...kinda makes you sick I gues. MY mom always said, "They'll get what is coming to them..." but, uh, they didn't??

That's so awesome that you have 2 masters degrees!

I know what you are saying! My friends were kind of popular since they were pretty but they were also smart. One has their masters already and the other is in the process of one. Bascially they had the brains, the beauty, AND were athletic. I was the quiet smart one in the group and people liked me but I wasn't sought after. I won "most friendly" one year. But it was very small classes. The next grade under us was full of hoochie mama's who would fight daily with their boyfriends during class. Those are the ones who have not done much with their lives. And this was in a christian school...just because it was a christian school does not mean all the students acted like it. We had some hoochie mama's we did.
