I hope things get better for you, because it seems that the majority of people succeeded in filling out the forms, interview and getting the Visa.

I just got approved today at my interview (k1 visa)

Best of luck to you :) Have faith because everybody is encouraging you!

K1-Visa in Montreal, Canada.

4/07 - Filed the I-129 F [Petition for Alien Fiancé(e)] Along with Bio forms [G-325a for both of us]

6/07 - Forms got resent back to my Fiance because I forgot to sign some papers. [silly me]

11/28/07 - Got my K1-Packet 3!!! It was a headache to fill in the papers.

2/15/08 - Sent all documents and forms through express! I was close to the expiration date

3/27/08 - Interview letter!!! I was in the US with my Fiance so I couldn't come back in time, rescheduled appointment.

4/24/08 - Got my interview done :) Approved! Passport+visa+brown envelope will be sent within a week.

5/1/08 - Got my Visa!

~ Flying to US on 6/11/08.

No worries dear, we all are sailing in the same Boat. Patience will pay sooner. Just keep praying to GOD. And I hope You be with your loved one sooner. Coz when u see two hearts beating for eachother& but this dammm distance keeps them apart..... that Sucks though..... but God will listen to our prayers.

Me & my BF applied for K1 visa before we could meet eachother & landed up in having a rejection letter instead. But we did not loose hope. We met eachother in December 2007 & then again in Jan 2008 & now we have successfully submitted a new K1 visa application with another Goddamm check of $ 455.00. Still waiting for the new case number......... We have great hopes this time & praying to God to give us Good news soon..........So don't loose hope, everything will be fine......

Good Luck to you.

Keep Smiling :-)

Regards,

Amrit Rai

Hey Reehon,

Come on love you filed a month before me, lets put away our shoe laces and belts, and I wont move to Paris "just yet" lets give it a couple more months. In the mean while, chat on VJ, and start making plans when you and your love are here in the U.S. I started that for my husband when he arrives. Started wall papering the living room, painted ceils, put new tile down in both bathrooms, and the kitchen. And I will tell you something, its helped me mentally.Keeps me somewhat sane, besides I cant move to Paris, cant speak the language, and I would miss Wal-mart too much, ha ha

Take care, and keep the faith.

Paris Heart

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

When the game gets tough...

Wait it out and spite them, show them that they can bend you but not break you!! YOU CAN MAKE IT! Teach the service center dudes a lesson or two in how to live life for the things that are right and that you believe in!

Aggree indeed. It's been a year since I've was with my husband, and im passed the 6 month mark, watching k-1 fly get their fiancees here and married well, while I still wait to have to visa that will unite us. Its extremely unfair..that they approve ppl who've filed way after me for I-130's too. I am with you Charisma they hope to make ppl wait enough time to disintegrate whatever they've started this is not news. So why give them the pleasure of losing it? No way.. brace yourself for the long haul.. don't wait for ur approval each day... give yourself 1 yr for the entire process and if it comes sooner.. then you will be happy. Go to visit if you can, though sometimes it makes it so hard to leave. It happened to me the first time, i was lost. I sitting here in my place with a ring on to remind me I am married, but no husband. The second time I returned, I prepared myself mentally. I was very honest and clear with my husband in telling him the possibility of the process taking one year depending on circustances. It was going fine until ppl started saying to him, hey you are still here waiting for ur wife to send you ur visa?? and comments like this. So, we must get close to our spouses and fill them in on what is happening every once in a while but not let your time with them be only about the approvals as it will only make it seem so long wait.

My prayers are with all of us in the wait for approvals...and that VSC gets a real clue!!

We just have to have so much Patience for this long visa process. It took us 259 days just to be approved, so I know how it can get very aggravating. Just have faith and pray that soon, you will be together soon.

I know that this past year....has given us many ups and downs, but as husband and wife......we have grown so much stronger in our marriage. I can't wait to have him home and seeing our new place and starting our lives together...under our very own roof. We are very lucky as well to have such a supportive family and as well as friends here at VJ.

All my fellow VJr's are in my prayers and that soon, we will all be reunited with our loved ones...insha allaah!!!
