So are you past NOA2 yet?

Only consolation is if and when you do get green-card it will be an unconditional 10 year one.

How about doing a timeline, it helps others researching processing times for your consulate, a signature timeline is OK, but it is unsearchable.

I dont really know what I would do in his/her place. But probably something bad

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

what else have you done in addition to contacting congressmen? I am in the same situation as you.. I would try to keep pushing them to look at your case.. :thumbs:

wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

Wow, that's horrible... I heard from a local Pakistani guy here that Pakistan takes a long time but I would assume that was at the embassy stage, AP, etc. - I can't believe you never even got out of USCIS!!!!! :ranting:

Have you asked any other Pakistan filers if their cases have had similar timelines? This seems way out of line.
