What is Randy usually short for, by the way? I never managed to figure that out.

When someone says 'crazy squirrel lady' I just think of the lady from Rat Race.

Krikit - my Ancient History teacher was a Gillian and she was anything but plain old! Excellent teacher and kept a riding whip in her cupboard! So I have a positive, but slightly scared, impression of the name Gillian.

I don't know what Rat Race is. Is that a movie or reality tv?

A movie. Very daft and one of my secret viewing pleasures. (I'm a bit of a movie snob ) At one point a couple of the ladies travelling in a car get lost, and they stop to ask a lady sitting by the side of the road with several pet squirrels for directions. She insists they buy a squirrel off her, but they refuse, so she gives them the wrong directions and sends them hurtling off a cliff - and as they're falling, they see a series of signs saying 'YOU SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A SQUIRREL'. Then they crash onto a pile of cars filled with skeletons.

Randall - d'oh. Seems so obvious now.
