In 2003 this little girl then aged 2 was badly burnt when a car burst into flames after slamming into a Childcare Centre where she was attending. Having recovered from this ordeal after losing both her feet, some fingers and her right ear in the accident, she has today been hit by a car and is once again in hopital in critical condition. The poor lil darling :( I think I would be wrapping her up in cotton wool if she can pull through this one once again. Damm talk about awful luck........and how horrible and traumatic for the parents as well. A few prayers wont go astray I dont think. Australians were right behind young Sophie back then and they will be once again.

Dec 20th - Forms recev'd at CSC

Dec 27th - NOA1 received by snail mail!

Dec 29th - 'Touched'

March 10 2006 - NOA2!

March 23 - recv'd at NVC

March 24 - petition sent to London

April 9th - Pkt 3 rec'd!

May 17th - Pkt 3 signed for at London Embassy

May 24th - Medical

May24th - Pkt 4

June 14th - Interview 10am - APPROVED 1pm!!

June 16th - Visas received in my hot little hands 1pm :)

July 19th - flying to US!

July 27th - Married!! :-)

Aug 7th - Applied for SSN in married name

Aug 9th - SSN received

Totally agree with you there Jaylen, sad thing is though that is happens so many times, we know that over here don't we and the drivers STILL drive with no insurance, no MOT's nothing and they can take lives and hardly get any punishment when they are caught. It makes my blood boil.

From the reports the car that hit her did pull over.....it wasnt a hit and run. Apparently a witness has said they themselves stopped their car at the crossing to allow Sophie and her family to cross but the other car didnt stop and passed the stationary car hitting Sophie who was being wheeled across to attend school. Regardless the driver failed to stop at a school crossing when other cars had so I hope they throw the book at them.
