Medical Exam for AOS

Hi All,

I have a question with I-485 instructions. In the instructions, #7 - Medical Examination, it states that when required submit a medical examination report on the form you have obtained from USCIS (I am assuming it's talking about the I-693 form). Does this mean that I can wait for them to request the medical examination report or should I be proactive and have my wife go to the doctor and get this exam/report completed? Any response on this is greatly appreciated.

K-1 only needs a vaccination supplement if the medical for visa is less than a year ago.

8. Fiancé(e)s.

If you are a K-1 fiancé(e) or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the non immigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report.You may include the vaccination supplement with your adjustment of status application.
