That Pesky NVC Automated Phone System and K-1!!!

My lover and I have been apart of 8.5 months...so I am little irritated----but..what can I do? CALL!!!!!

I have just got off the phone with nice man from NVC....always best to talk to a living breathing person!!! And I called late, just kept trying and trying.............finally got through!!! Yea!!!!!!!! Tried all day, waiting IS All

Received my I-797 (NOA2)on 4/11.

Called on Tuesday 4/22, to the NVC phone number,got a nice man after 6pm Pacific time. He said that my notice had just been logged in on Monday, 4/21. He said that would stay about a week there, and then I would get a notice in the mail with my NVC number, but he gave it to me on the phone.

HE SAID THAT THE AUTOMATED TELEPHONE RESPONSE SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK FOR K-1 VISA'S--------SO BE AWARE OF THAT!!!!!!

I-130's DO work with the automated response, but K-1's do not!!!!

It is much better to just call them and talk to A REAL PERSON!!!!! They were very nice....more later

Glad you posted that, i was thinking of asking the question on here as it keeps saying my number isn't in the system...and of course never could get to speak with any one, just threw me back in the queue!

Hopefully the package went last week as the letter advised!
