Lets see, she started with a 20 point advantage. Obama made a few mistakes that would only help to boost her. Demographically the state is in her favor. And all she can pull in this election is a 10 point advantage? What happened?

A win is a win from a psychological perspective. But since its not winner takes all, a small win such as this gives her hardly any advantage. This is basically the last big race remaining.

She will probably try to make the argument, but it is flawed none the less. How can you be certain that the votes as they are are the will of democratic voters. How many people stayed home just because they knew it wouldnt count? How many voted for Clinton simply on name recognition because Obama did not campaign there?

Okay, so if you throw out Michigan completely she gains almost 300,000 from Florida alone (870,986 to 576,214). So now you're talking a difference of just over 200,000 nationwide. Not impossible to makeup. Of course she's going to have to do something about North Carolina, but I think at least you can see her case for sticking it out.
