Should new votes on old polls put them on top?

  1. 1. Should new votes and no reply to old polls make them go to the top of the list?

I find it really difficult to find polls that are recent now that all the old polls go to the top of the page when they get a new vote and no new reply. Can't it go back to the way it was?

It really is driving me a bit batty too. Plus I don't like the ones where you CAN'T reply. Mostly because they drop off the first page pretty much right away, so if the OP doesn't bump them, they're gone and no one sees them. Secondly because I usually find I have to ask a question before answering the poll, so I end up not even voting. Don't like it one little bit. <_<

I agree. No reply = annoying (and only something that would be used by someone on a power/control trip) And the resurrection of long-dead polls is really annoying.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

Absolutely.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

It's confusing. I understand the desire to keep the non-response polls up the page, but adding a vote to any poll seems to bump it. Either turn that feature off for the response-allowed polls, or do away with the the non-response polls. There, I've said it.

I think the vote = bump was a result of the "no replies allowed" change, not an addition to....

No it was actually a deliberate change. Some of us were saying that these would fall off the first page too quickly with no replies to bump it. I thought that he would be able to apply the new feature separately for the no-reply polls only. I hope he can. If not, then I agree that we should revert to the old way.
