No big business would take it over and get richer, the little dealer would get weeded out.

What did you expect, Steven? Mom and Pop stores? Who are the main alcohol vendors? Not the microbreweries, but the huge companies. Now whether or not they're good is a matter of opinion, but the large corporations still have the most money, power and influence and everyone knows their name and product. It'd be the same way with marijuana.

Well, in the case of beer, the microbreweries have done actually quite well. Similar trends have happened in the music and movie industries. I have hope for the mom and pop homegrowers to sustain themselves from the fruit of their labor. Entrepreneurialism is the drive of the American Spirit....but first we've got to stop criminalizing Marijuana.

I never implied the microbreweries weren't doing well (at least considering the competition). However, that wasn't my point. I was about about how well known the companies are and for the most part, microbreweries are local industries while large corporate breweries are international. It's pretty obvious which one would be more readily recognized. Once again, that says nothing about quality; just product recognition.
