Hey all....I would like to know if there is a way of finding out your case number without getting the NOA1 in the mail, like can you call and they tell you based on your information?

Thanks

Jamericanlove, don't forget to call the Military Immigration Helpline (it's in my signature section) for all of your queries once you get your case number ... you'll be taken straight through to the hub of USCIS .... but as you've seen, be prepared for it to not touch the ground .... the chances are it'll be at the NVC before you get your USCIS case number in the mail .... and then at the Consulate before you hear from NVC.

MarineBabe's remember was 9 days from application to visa .... however I guess hers was really wizzed due to the impending deployment. But I would still expect you to be done and dusted within 30 days as it should be expedited right through, just call the helpline and they will tell you everything you need to know about your case .... they may also be able to pull you up using your Husband's SSN .... yes, they are VERY helpful.

Goodluck x

Thank you so much Sarah! You need to be in your FRG once you get over. Deal with immigration issues for military spouses.

 Thanks Jamericanlove .... yes, that's exactly where I'm going. I also think it's a good idea if we all keep in touch as each of our different countries have different rules, and that way we will have someone to call upon if we come across foreign spouses from those countries

I presume you've posted your packet ? ....

Please keep us posted and let us know how you're getting on

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast
