The most interesting pizza I ever ate was at a cafe in Terrania, Italy (close to Pisa but on the coast). I have never seen any place else that made it the same way.

Take your pizza crust and cut it in one place along the radius. Make 1/2 a pizza and fold the other part over to make a calzone. You end up with a Pac Man looking dish with a bumpy chin. Great idea for a quick lunch combo. As I recall it was about a 10" pie. 3 slices of pizza and the calzone. Neat idea but it was Italian (not silcilian) pizza and IMO was not that good but the cleverness of the dish made up for its lack of pizzaz.

My favorite topping is Ham.

Best pizza I've had is NY style places around here, locally owned mostly by ex-New Yorkers. I am sure I had pizza up north on a visit in the past when I was young that was good but I don't remember exactly.

Forgot to answer the other parts.

I usually eat 2-3 slices

most was probably 4-5 at one time

I like Imo's (local company) Deluxe which has all kinds of veggies, along with bacon and sausage. It is not a slice, though. They cut it into squares.

I like the BLT pizza from California Pizza Kitchen too. My hubby's favorite is Jamaican Jerk Chicken from CPK.

I love pizza. There's one at Nick n' Willy's that has olive oil instead of tomato sauce and it has spinach, marinated aritchoke hearts, tomatoes and feta cheese. I love it.

If I'm eating pizza anywhere else, I like pepperoni, black olives and fresh tomatoes.

best pizza i ever had was in naples, italy...its called pizza 8 gusti (8 flavors/tastes)....each slice had a different topping:

1-mushrooms

2-ham

3-salami

4-plain pizza margherita

5-fried egg

6-roasted peppers

7-4 cheese

8-i cant remember right now =[ maybe it was sausage, but ill have to look at the photo to be sure...yea, i took a photo

damn it was fabulous!!!

but italian pizzas are much smaller than american ones, so i would say it came out to be about 3/4 american (nyc) slices

OMG that pizza sounds to die for!!!! *drool

I LOVE pizza. i love a simple margherita, to fancy ones with goat cheese and veggies, and anywhere in between. Although I do much prefer NY style versus Chicago (although Chicago IS good too)

I absolutely LOVE pizza. I grew up in the New Haven CT area and am definitely biased towards that style pizza (first pizzeria in America was in New Haven :) ). My favorite kind is white clam pizza. A good second choice would be bacon, mushrooms, onion and fresh tomato.

Dang, now I want pizza and IMO, there is no good pizza to be found in my small town in Northern NH :(
