Question on AP

Hi everybody!

I filed for my Advance Parole last December and stated that I needed it to fly back home in March 2006. I checked that I needed the AP for several trips. Now I have been wondering, since March passed and no AP showed up, will they still process it even though now they don't really know what I need it for? Can I just mail in a new statement telling them why I still want my AP? I am really scared that this will further delay the process.

We have a big wedding planned in Germany for June 17th, and I am already this close to telling everybody that we have to postpone, but I don't want to give up hope yet....Any good advise?

Thank you!

Anne

No, I haven't made an infopass appt...I started two inquiries (one timed-out after 30 days, the other one is still going) through the phone line. I am wondering if an appointment can really do anything for me. I know that the RFE for the I-485 is what caused the delay.

Well, I got my EAD approved today, so there is still hope...;)

Hi!

My husband and I are having our Church Wedding Ceremony on June 17th in Mexico... I'm still waiting for my AP... My I-131 was received in Chicago on March 15th, so I still have hope that next week my AP will be approved :) I really wish we didnt have the extra stress but oh well, we like following the rules, dont we?... So, I've been told that if my AP is not here I can make an infopass appointment and they'll give me an emergency AP... That makes me feel better :)

Good luck!

Jeny
