It takes about 2 weeks for USCIS to send petition to and for NVC to receive the petition. NVC automated system on the phone wont have anything for K-Visas.

Email format I used with NVC is:

Dear sirs,

Just inquiring about the status of our visa petition.

USCIS Receipt number is: EACxxxxxxxxx

Beneficiary's DOB: 10/07/1970

Thanks,

Lastly, what's with all the Zeros "0" being used in place of Ohs "o"? Broken keyboard?

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Per the automated response message, you MUST include the case number, beneficiary's FULL NAME, beneficiary's date of birth, the petitioner's full name and the petitioner's date of birth at the top of every e-mail correspondence or they will either not respond, or you'll wait a week or two just to get an e-mail from them saying that you did not provide sufficient information for them to respond to your request. This is a new policy that's been in effect since April 5th/2008. If you call the NVC, they can tell you what date emails they are responding to at the moment. I can tell you that I sent them an e-mail on the 16th and they have not responded yet. In general, they take about 1-2 weeks.

Also, for sending e-mails to the NVC, if you don't have a keyboard that works properly, try using the character map (start>all programs>accessories>system tools>character map) to select the characters you can't type. Then you can just paste the text into the e-mail. If it is only your "o" key not working, just copy the letter "o" from somewhere and then use CTRL-V every time you want to type "o". Might make it easier for the NVC to read e-mails from you!

both petitioner and beneficiary receive the form but the beneficiary has to sign it...if you already have it signed by the beneficiary then when you receive the automated message from NVC that the DS3032 was sent out then you can mail it...you have to put the address where you want all the mail from nvc to go to...you can have the beneficiary email it to nvc if you prefer.

If you email the choice of agent, you don't have to have the beneficiary sign a DS-3032. I suppose it wouldn't hurt anything to have it, but you don't need it if they accept the email. DS-230 (with only part 1 signed) and the supporting docs should be the only things you need from the beneficiary. The petitioner prepares the I-864 and its supporting docs and can make the AOS fee bill and IV fee bill payments on their own.
