Abdel was using the dish soap the whole time, but when he first got here he was going through a bottle a week, and we don't dirty that many dishes. I watched him once to see why and he was using about 1/4 cup per sinkful of water. He wasn't used to such concentrated soap as we have here.

They are all really endearing aren't they.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

How many of the families back home wash dishes with the "all-purpose" powdered Tide? He did that here in the beginning. I tried it myself when we ran out of dish soap, and it works pretty well. But it makes everything so slippery until they are rinsed well, and it's harsh. He does do the dishes and so many other things to balance the load, and I'm very grateful. :luv:

I think I'll tell Usama that it would be super sexy if he repainted the back deck this summer.

My husband had really bad allergies this year too, Claritin helped a bit, but using the Medipot was the best. Its a sinus rinse and he used it in the morning and at night. It worked wonders!
