I am so sorry - I know exactly how you feel - I lost my beautiful Senegal parrot Lani Girl the same way - she got sick while I was at work and my roommate rushed her to the vet's office, she died in my hands shortly after I arrived, like she was waiting to say goodbye - the vet could not figure out why she died, and she was only 8 years old... The hardest part is walking in the apt. even 1.5 years later and not hearing her greet me with her chatters and whilstles when I walk in the door...

The pain will diminish but you will never forget Cocoa - he will always have a place in your heart and (if you believe in reincarnation like I do ) you will meet him again...

I feel like that with Cocoa, he couldve died anytime during the night, but it was 10 mins after me and my daughter picked him up did he die, i felt like he waited for us, so we could spend some time together before he passed.

Im pissed now, the anger is setting in. Especially with the ER vet charging me $500. I dont even feel like they cared about my kitty, i think they cared about how much i was willing to spend to save my kitty, and then they didnt even save him. I cant wait for them to call to ask about the stopped check.

Oh, Tara, I'm just seeing this... I'm so sorry. When I lost my 2 labradors, words could not describe my grief. I still think of them often and still cry when I see their pictures. It will get easier, and you'll start remembering the good times more often.

Sin I am so sorry for your lose. I lost my baby boy Iggy last Friday, he also died in my arms, he was 13 years old. It is a very hard thing to deal with, it is exactly like loseing a child, for me he was my son. I do o.k. during the day when I am busy but I cry at night I miss him so very much. So know that you are not alone at this time. (L)

I really know the pain you're going through.

I lost my cat once, but in my case i had to agree to the euthanasia, so he wouldn't suffer more.

I believe it was the hardest decision i ever made.

I felt myssself a traitor.
