And I am a better driver than him !!!! HAHAHAHA

That is actually a curse for me, because it means I end up doing more of the driving, especially when we are in a city. He is a product of living in Vancouver and using the lovely public transportation system which meant he rarely drove. Although, I do pull the pregnancy card now and he drives more frequently :)

Vancouver has a great transit system, the buses are actually on time unlike SOME places here in the US. and the transit skytrain goes to majority points to where you need to get to =)

OMG doesn't he miss it there?! I do, but I'm only 2 hours away. After I get this license I won't have anything else left to do until '09. woohoo! oh and I'm a good driver, but my husband does most the driving. I'm probably annoying at times cuz I sometimes become the "back seat driver" haha

I remember being in one of our corporate vans with a couple of my co-workers, Jason and Tony, coming back from a meeting in the city. I was sitting up front with Tony, who was driving. There was a huge truck which was barrelling towards us from the opposite direction and we were FAR too close to his side of the two-lane highway. So close, in fact, that the truck driver blared his horn at us. Tony said "I wonder why that truck driver blared his horn at us?" I said "Probably because you were too close to the centre line." Tony said "Oh yeah? Well, you're too close to the front seat!"

OMG, Jason and I HOWLED.

Oh yeah, he misses it a lot. Especially when he first moved here. We live in a rural small town, public transportation is practically nonexistent. He was trapped at home until he got his license.

I felt like that when we lived in VA. omg. haha extreme culture shock or lack of.. Anyhow tomorrow's my road test.. haha. I'm not even a bad driver. I don't know whens the last time I parallel parked. You know how they have you go in between those cones.. I practiced and banged the curb! I couldn't stop laughing don't know why. But I actually went over to where it's EXACTLY set up and parked fine.. tomorrow is going to be so entertaining, and interesting..

I still keep thinking about how if I fail, it will actually be quite horrible.. And they keep asking for my Vancouver license but I surrendered that to get a free BCID in Vancouver. oh and that lady at the DMV was very BITCHY!

It can't be hard in Texas. My wife's son (lived in Texas forever) got his driver's license without even taking a road exam. All he did was pass the written.

Oh yeah baby. He was licensed in OR and UT; then moved to Canada and exchanged for an AB license. Came back here and voila: take the test or else. Needless to say, the redhead was not pleased :protest:

That's sucks, I don't blame the redhead for being displeased. I don't understand why he didn't just surrender the license that was expiring sooner instead of both.

Anyone know about getting one in KY?

I'm guessing it won't be too big of a deal, but you never know...

I can jsut imagine what the FH will say if he finds he has to re-take the whole thing. It certainly won't be PG. lol

"Я тебя люблю. Эти слова имеют мою жизнь в них."

Eligible for N-400 early based on Section 329 of the INA, Service During Hostilities
