Hey guys, i guess I m missing something. How do I know whether my I 129F is touched or not? I find so many of you saying yours is touched, how did you find out? When we tried to call the USICS CA, they said they cant give any information on the progress except the status that we have online "Case received and pending" :blink:

Cheers

If you called, then it is likely that they have touched your application as well. As soon as they move your petition from one desk to another, if you call, if they need something to look at or when the cleaners move it to the side (this prolly doesn't happen but it is a figure of speech lol), then your application is 'touched'.

You can see your application being touched by logging into the USCIS website and check on the date when your application has last been updated.. if this date is a newer date than the last update, then your application is touched :)

I didnt read this message before i ask what TOUCHED mean, well, thank you so much for explaining about when can we tell if our papers are touch or not. Thanks so much for all the info here. May God bless us all

In a way yes... however, touches usually don't mean much... some people get touched all the time and some people never get any touch after the initial one (like you and i). It is nothing to worry over, just as it is nothing really meaningfull to be touched (altho I do agree it feels nice to be touched once in a while.... ok, that sooo sounded wrong but you know what I meant hahaha :lol: )

I'm so happy! I was touched by the CSC today!!!

YEAH! :dance::thumbs:

Hello, Good Day! By the way , when you said TOUCHED what does that mean?

I have an Expedite request in because I originally filed in September and my I-129 F got in with a pile of I-130's and was sent to the Chicago lock box. Chicago correctly recognized it as an I-129F and sent the application back to my attorney because it was out of their jurisdiction, NO DAH!

Last Monday an Officer at CSC requested my documentation so that was why I was excited to see that at least my file had been looked into. We'll see what happens now.

Best of luck with your visa journey!

Gerald

Sorry. Didn't get the whole message pasted in on my last message :wacko:

Once you receive your NOA1 with your receipt number then you can go on to the USCIS site at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

and register to check your case status. Once you have done that you can go to

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp;...oyEICAC_Qb2FKJr

and you will be able to see whenever someone has handled your file.

Gerald.. you could very well be on your way to NOA2 because of their error! I sure hope so! :thumbs:

A touch is anytime someone scans your petition for any reason and really can mean something... or not. I'd still love a grope! :lol:
