For a while at least.

Tomorrow, all our household goods including the computer will get packed and shipped off to Germany. We will be there for three years because of my hubbys job in the Air Force.

I hope we will be all settled into a new place in Germany by the end of June, until then I will hopefully be able to stop by every now and then by using the library computers.

Everybody take care!!! :star:

Best wishes to you!

Hi all. I will be moving to the Hiedelburg area in Dec. Can any of you tell me about the area? Thanks in advance!

Heidelberg is a really nice city. It is not very huge, but very charming, has a nice old town, a castle, a river...very nice.

It is not far from other cities, Frankfurt is maybe a 45 minute drive.

I think you will like it there.

Just a little update on me:

We moved out of our house and into temorary living quaters on the Air Force Base and it sucked big time. My hubby went to Las Vegas for his training and I closed on the house (thanks God for POAs) and had another appointment with the doctor.

The baby is doing fine, everything looked good and the diagnosed placenta previa has moved upwards a good way already. So the doctor gave me the okay to fly and whoohoo, I am now in Las Vegas with my hubby. Luckily, there was no room available on the base so we get a rental car paid and the worst part of his training is over so we will have some time in the evenings and weekends to have a good time out here.

I still have to be careful, can't walk too much and wild parties are out of the question, but hey, it is WAYYYY better than being stuck in sucky Louisiana!

But I am ready to go to Germany, I feel weird not having a real home and living in hotelrooms is not really fun either. Thanks to the preggo hormones, I am ready to find a new place to live and get ready for the baby. I am almost 16 weeks now and glad that I made it that far already.

Well, I should be able to be on here more often again, just wanted to say hi and give you guys an update!
