My husbands interview is scheduled for May 23rd. On the one hand I am excited that it is scheduled, on the other, it seems that date will make it impossible for us to be together for our anniversary on the 30th since he wont have possession of his passport to try and meet me in Canada and with all the Swedish and American holidays it is unlikely he will have his passport and visa before the 31st.

3/20/07 - Rec'd Social Security Card

3/21/07 - Checks Cashed and Case Status online

3/24/07 - NOA1 Rec'd for AOS and EAD

3/27/07 - rec'd Biometrics appt letter - scheduled for 4/20/07 @ 11:00am

4/20/07 - had biometrics appt.

4/21/07 - rec'd letter stating case was transferred to CSC

How did u get a interview so quick. I thought they booking from 3-4 months after u send package 3 ???

Nevermind, your going from Sweden. I seen Canada and got all excited.

My wife has just sent back her packet 3 and she has her medical on May 19th when do you think her interview will be scheduled???

:( Im sorry that you may be spending this anniversary still apart....but just think of the wonderful reunion that you guys are gonna have in a very short time now. We were apart for our first anniversary too and for me the reunion is going to be our anniversary. The first day of the rest of our lives together. And so it will be for you :dance:

meddykomp, you can look at things this way: Your anniversary present to one another is the interview. You've both worked long and hard for this and now you're in the home stretch. You can each start chilling a good bottle of French champagne and pop the corks when you talk to each other by phone on your anniversary.

It'll take that long for him to get his passport back? :o I know that Memorial Day is the 29th; what Swedish holiday will be holding it up?

Ascension Day is on the 25th and generally when a holiday is on a Thursday they take the Friday too. His plan now is to have everything ready to go and then catch the first plane out once visa is in hand.
