No I dont believe a word they say anymore, they even told me I filed in Jan. Im just at the point that I cant even talk to my wife anymore, what can I say? Oh sorry yeah nothing still on USCIS, why ? I dont know why. What date are they on this month you ask? Why are they still in July ? I dont know that either. How long will we be apart? Sorry I dont know that either. Will we ever be together you ask? Im sorry I dont know how to answer that either. It seems like the more I speak to my wife the more I feel awful because i think about her. The more I think about her the more I think about USCIS. I feel so awful for the people on this forum that have been waiting 7 months to 12 months only for NOA2. I believe that you are some of the strongest people I have met. I pray that whatever god that each of us believes in blesses all of you, as for me................me and Jack Daniels are going to car pool over to Jim Beams house for Jose Cuervo's birthday party.

I never thought the day would arrive that I would say that the IRS appears to be the very model of administrative efficiency and transparency. Can you imagine if the USCIS was in charge of collecting taxes?? They'd still be collecting from the 1970s.

LOL that is FUNNY!

Is it reading April again, for those who still cant see the new processing dates, dont bother, they are depressing.

Something must give soon. This is a bunch of BS. We are the good guy here, not the emeny. We are bringing in our loved ones legally, think I will stuff my husband in trunk and smuggle him in. Illegals fit in well here in Texas. No offense to anyone out there.

I just checked California Service Center processing timelines. It first showed April 15 posting and processing timeframe said August 19 2007. Then I went back again in CSC timeline and it showed March 15 posting with processing timeframe of September 05 2007. When I see this August 19 date (for April 15 posting), I feel so depressed... :( THEY WENT BACK!!!!. Now I know how those VSC guys felt last month when VSC went back in time and showed July 30 2007. I am at work and I just lost all the motivation to do anything. I can't believe how depressed I am. This has to be the first depressing day of this whole prcoess and if these USCIS centers don't get their act together I am sure I will be suffering from more of these depressing days.

I hate this...I don't even check the processing times that often, and when I see these dates go back time, it just pisses me off. I haven't even created an account on USCIS to prevent myself from checking every day status of my case and becoming impatient everyday. Even after so much restraint, when I see that these guys are not even moving in forward direction with their approvals, it just depressed me so much.

What's worse is that they can't even be consistent in the times that they show for VSC and CSC. They keep on going back and forth between March 15 and April 15. All I can say that I hope this July 30 2007 and August 19 2007 idates are just "system update" issues and hopefully in couple of days they will put new dates that have moved in forward directions and not backward from past month.

This is all ridiculous. I tried calling the USCIS hotline and they were absolutely no help. I simply asked what was going on with the processing dates. Are they updated and are the dates for the I-130s at the CSC correct. The guy just said, your case is pending right now and you'll have to check the site to see when it updates. He was telling me things I already knew and completing avoiding the question I asked him about 4 times before saying, "Sorry, you aren't helping me at all" and hanging up. It's ridiculous. I hope those dates aren't true, but for me, the March 15th dates are the only ones showing now. I wonder what happened to April 15th? <_<

Ok , spoke with USCIS, they said the dates will change next month around May 15th and that I 130's are processed within 8 months. They said that the overflow of applications has caused them to stay in July and that the application processing will go much faster once they are done with the July batch. I really hate this, if there was ever a point in my life that i could really say I hate to be alive this would be that time.

Im in the same boat. And she is having some problems right now, and because of these useless f%^s I feel so helpless. Terrible feeling alltogether. I cant believe such a big problem gets completely ignored.

Edited by Ilya R.

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Hopefully my new thread will put a smile on your faces ... look for USCIS morning meeting conversation .... try not to get downhearted guys, I know it's hard, but it's just for a time.

This will all be over one day, and you'll be amazed at the tools you'll bring out of this and take into your new lives. Communication is the most important thing you can have in a relationship, and being away from each other is where you learn it in the most brutal of ways .... but, it's a skill that will help you through the really tough times which will hit in the future .... and you know they will.

I know we're all sick of the internet based ways of being in contact with our SO's, but trust me when I say, that this is a time that you'll be able to fall back on in the future when you had no idea that any benefit would ever come out of this.

We're all in this together

My husband and I are beginning to hav serious communication issues..well. actually we are on the "healing" side of it now...but it really affects one's marriage..no?

Hey guys... been there and done that too. I want to say it gets better...at least I hope so. I was edgy at one point.. the thought of explaining to my husband that I have no news.. and no real way of getting them was and still is, too much for me. Thanks to VJ, the days are tolerable as we get tons of information and the rest we conclude. Seriously, why have they made the I-130 last? Is this the effort they make to keep families together or to break them? This group has been thru alot.. waiting 3 months for a simple receipt notice from USCIS! Our files being shifted from here to there.

Now we see too many approved that filed after us and once again :bonk: the timelines remain the same with CSC going back in time too. Why do you suppose they came up with keeping the timelines further back? Is it because once we can show that our case is past their timelines we can now start to engage help from other agencies?? It's a cruel game they play.

For those of you that filed in january onward, brace yourself for the wait.. it is 6 months at least. Tho its hard you must pace yourself. Do talk to your SO, and be clear that 6 months to a year for the process entirely is not unlikely. It will help you in the end too, as they will know its too soon to expect anything.. and if it comes sooner.. it will be a nice surprise. My prayers for all of us waiting the long haul to NOA2 (F):luv:

That is BS and it makes no sense...They have been working on July filers for MONTHS, and most of them seem to have been approved. I doubt they have so many left that ALL other petitions get delayed. Looking at other people's timelines, it seems they are onto October/Nov. for VSC and Dec. for CSC.. I think we must not despair and always: "NEVER TRUST USCIS call center!"

They said that the overflow of applications has caused them to stay in July and that the application processing will go much faster once they are done with the July batch. I really hate this, if there was ever a point in my life that i could really say I hate to be alive this would be that time.

I got the same info from VSC. Three more months before they reach october. My prayer is that they feel what we feel. For a week. LEt them experience the feelings taht we wake up with everyday. That will get them moving Im sure of it.

I LOVE MY HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok , spoke with USCIS, they said the dates will change next month around May 15th and that I 130's are processed within 8 months. They said that the overflow of applications has caused them to stay in July and that the application processing will go much faster once they are done with the July batch. I really hate this, if there was ever a point in my life that i could really say I hate to be alive this would be that time.

ya i hope they do apprvoe the petitions before yalls 8 months is up.. i think it would be anywhere from 6-8months max.. fingers crossed!!! for yall
