It is nice to know that I am not the only one who checks their case status like every 5 minutes! I wonder how long it will be until January filers here anything. Maybe a month or two they way they are going, but who knows, it could be next Christmas before we get an approval.... it is like Russian Roulette!

I-130 Timeline:

12-11-2007- Married my Love

02-08-2008- CSC receives I-130

02-11-2008- Received Hardcopy NOA1

08-14-2008- Approved!!! 216 days...

08-21-2008- NOA2 Hardcopy received

08-27-2008- NVC Receives file, NVC Case Number issued

09-05-2008- AOS Fee Bill and DS-3032 Generated

09-06-2008- E-mailed DS-3032 to NVC

09-11-2008- Received Hardcopy of DS-3032 and AOS Fee Bill

09-15-2008- Mailed Hardcopy of DS-3032

09-16-2008- Paid $70 AOS fee online

09-17-2008- Received E-mail confirming the DS-3032 Agent

09-17-2008- Printed Coversheet for AOS paperwork

I bet they're just teasing us .... just to see how quick a thread for the new dates would be started :unsure:

Maybe they have real fun logging into VJ and seeing how we all scrabble for the new dates ..... maybe they'll do our heads in completely and post a 2006 date tomorrow for a few minutes to make us all faint :wacko:

You guys are great, you've actually stopped me for 5 minutes from logging into USCIS to stare unwittingly at 02/24/08 for no particular reason :rofl::rofl:

This is THE absolute height of Frustration!!!! Great to know I am not alone.

No the dates are the same on my end. Still on March 15th.

I checked twice today and VJ is march 15 same date. I was wondering when they would update. Let's keep checking

June 4th 2008 : AOS shows PAID on website, THEN REJECTED twice

June 11th 2008 : AOS bill finally accepted. Shows PAID on website.

June 25th 2008 : Paid $400.00 IV Bill

June 26th 2008 : IV Bill shows PAID on website.

June 30th 2008 : Mailed DS-230 package to NVC.

July 11th 2008 : Called NVC. Automated message stated CASE COMPLETE!

August 8th 2008: Called NVC and spoke with operator. She stated Sept 29th at 9am is when the interview is scheduled for.

Sept 29th 2008: Wife had interview. Medical exam was about to expire before our flight so we had to get another one. Mailed it in to the embassy and got wife's visa a few days later in the mail.

Oct. 20th 2008: Wife, daughter and myself arrive back in America. POE took a whole 10 or 15 minutes.

Oct. 21st - forever: Happy to be with my wife and baby girl.

I was able to create a PDF of April 15, 2008 posted processing dates for CSC and VSC (see attached).

This better be a fvcking joke.

Ok , spoke with USCIS, they said the dates will change next month around May 15th and that I 130's are processed within 8 months. They said that the overflow of applications has caused them to stay in July and that the application processing will go much faster once they are done with the July batch. I really hate this, if there was ever a point in my life that i could really say I hate to be alive this would be that time.

These USCIS agents are really good with coming up with excuses on the fly. And to add insult to injury they also give you these "ballpark" answers. "Yeah Next Month It should be quicker, or we were backloged" (arent they always)

Yeah thanks USCIS but I've heard this before. Why did I ever decide to do everything by the book is beyond me. One of those things In LIfe I regret doing is sending the application to Chicago Lockbox!

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I would believe that if Delicia's spreadsheet was reflecting what the USCIS rep said, however, I watched as the NOA2 slowly fill in with the approvals up until August 21st. It is just hard to believe is all i am saying. Check out Delicia's page

I never thought the day would arrive that I would say that the IRS appears to be the very model of administrative efficiency and transparency. Can you imagine if the USCIS was in charge of collecting taxes?? They'd still be collecting from the 1970s.
