Hi all.

I don't know, but I feel this is the worse part--waiting! All our paperwork is in, we have our interview date set, but we still have another 2 months to go. I think I am more frustrated then ever. Any tips on how we make it over this hurdle?

Visa Journey:

Marriage: July 6, 2007

I-130 Sent: August 7, 2007

NOA1: September 24, 2007

I-129F Sent: September 25, 2007

NOA1: October 9, 2007

NOA2: March 7, 2008

Packet 3: March 28, 2008

Interview: June 24, 2008

AP: June 24, 2008

10 months in AP--will this ever end?

I was once in your shoes patiently waiting , hating the waiting!!

I suggest you not to think of it very much take it easy evrything will just come along. .

Instead use your time for yourself go to Spa, GYM, have a full body massage, facial and etc. to divert your attention!

Thats what I did. . I just dont mind the dates in the Calendar i just set up in my mind that all I know i have something to wait for and that Im excited too thats just it!!!

I'm at nearly the same point as you.

We've made it this long. To me, it seems like there's finally light at the end of a very long tunnel.

However, you've managed to stay sane so far, keep it up a little longer. :clock:

  • 07/17/07 Returned from two months in China. All K1 documents 'in hand'.
  • 07/19/07 Completed preparation of I-129F & associated documentation. Mailed it.
  • 08/03/07 Received NOA1 from the CSC.
  • 12/13/07 Received NOA2 from the CSC.
  • 01/23/08 NVC sent our case to U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou China.
  • 03/31/08 U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou China received, issued case number.
  • 04/05/08 P3 received.
  • 04/06/08 P3 sent.
  • 05/01/08 P4 received.
  • 05/12/08 Flight to China.
  • 06/23/08 Interview at U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou China- PINK.
  • 06/25/08 K1 & K2 visas received.
  • 07/09/08 We all arrive in America, Chicago POE
  • 08/06/08 Fiancee receives SSN (req. for marriage in our state)
  • 08/08/08 Married
  • 09/01/08 Moved into new house. AR-11's filed for wife & son.
  • 09/19/08 AOS / EAD package mailed.
  • 09/25/08 AOS / EAD NOAs.
  • 10/02/08 Biometrics letters.
  • 10/16/08 Biometrics taken.
  • 10/17/08 Case transferred to CSC.
  • 12/08/08 EADs approved / EAD cards issued.
  • 03/05/09 AOS approved.
  • 03/12/09 Green Cards received.
  • 09/17/10 Application for Lifting Conditions Mailed.
  • 10/04/10 NOA1
  • 10/19/10 Biometrics Taken.
  • 01/07/11 Removal of Conditions Approved
  • 02/26/12 Still Happily Married & Doing Well

Our interview is a few days after yours :) Good luck to you. Sorry, no miracle suggestions here. We're in the same boat.

September 11, 2007 - Sent I-129F to CSC

September 12, 2007 - I-129F delivered to CSC

September 26, 2007 - Official date of receipt on NOA1

September 29, 2007 - Received NOA1 via snail mail

October 2, 2007 - Touched

February 20, 2008 - Touched/Approval date on NOA2

February 21, 2008 - Touched

February 26, 2008 - NOA2 via snail mail - Approved!

February 28, 2008 - NVC received file/NVC sent file to Ankara

March 4, 2008 - DHL delivered to embassy

March 21, 2008 - Packet 3 received

March 31, 2008 - Packet 3 sent to embassy

April 4, 2008 - Packet 4 received

May 28, 2008 - Medical appointment

June 3, 2008 - Scheduled interview date was 23rd. Asked for a closer date and was given the 3rd instead.

June 3, 2008 - Interview was successful and K1 is approved!

June 9, 2008 - Visa in hand.

August 2, 2008 - Our wedding party

August 12, 2008 - POE Miami

August 20, 2008 - Legal US wedding

December 8, 2008 - Sent AOS packet to USCIS

May 4, 2009 - Interview day - Approved!

June 23, 2009 - Green card received.

Just wanted to add my support. :thumbs: I have few words of encouragement. I try to pass time by, constantantly thinking about going to the gym, and all the diffrent things I would do while there. Treadmill, lift a few pounds to tone. Go jogging on the track. Then I realize as I am eating my 3rd cookie that that ####### ain't going to happen and suddenly I am exhuasted from all the mental stimulation. So I go take my lazy butt to sleep!!! :blush: - Hey I am trying!! LOL Keep your head up!!

December 08 move to GERMANY

May2009 Start Case for Naturalization

14 SEPTEMBER 2009 Visa Journey is over!! Husband a US Citizen!!

Thanks for all the advice! I am trying to keep busy, busy, busy, but I can't help keeping the countdown mode in motion.
