:help: I am the USC and my wife to be is in Russia. We want to be together while our K1 is being processed. Is this feasible? I do not think she can travel here, as her daughter will attend school until the end of May. I can certainly go to her, but my visa only allows for 30 days. Is there another type of visa I can apply for? Would I be able to complete the next steps after our NOA2 if I am there? I am asking here first, as I know that there are many knowledgable people here, and I would think that some of you have been through or know of this type of situation. Thanks for reading!

As a side note/option. Would an I-192 be an option? How long would that be good for?

Not sure about the Russian side of things, but as long as there is someone who can inform you when the NOA2 arrives and forward it to you for the interview and you can also satisfy the support side of affairs either through your own assets/job or a co-sponsor, you should have no problem being in Russia with her.

You may get better answers in the Russian forum.

Thanks for the info. What a beautiful baby!! I have talked it over w/Lada, and she is confident that she can do it on her own, so no trip. All of our docs are already completed and filed so she should get her package soon. With the costs of fuel these days :crying: it doesn't make sense to more than one trip to Russia (I will be going to bring them home), and I cannot stay away from my job for that long of a period of time (waiting for visa..then saying goodbye...then getting her settled here)
