Hello all, I posted in the ME/NA forum, but I thought maybe I should post in here too... I just mailed my K1 pkg to TSC on Monday, April 24. I am waiting to hear of NOA1 any day now, but I'm wondering what's next? I'm sure the info is somewhere, but I can't seem to locate it. What do I need to start preparing next? All I can do now is obsessively check my bank acct to see when my check clears! :P It seems there should be something else I should be doing.... is there? :help:

March 25-April 14, 2006 Noura's 2nd trip to Morocco - formal engagement w/ family

April 24, 2006- mailed in K1 Visa package - TSC

Oct 5, 2006 - Interview SUCCESS

Oct 12, 2006 - Called to pick up visa tomorrow!

Oct. 16, 2006 VISA IN HAND!

Dec. 24, 2006 - Said arrives in NOLA, just in time for the holidaze!

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved

and also go to uscis.gov to keep track of the status of your petition and register to receive email notice of your NOA2.

January 7, 2006 - Mailed I-129F to Nebraska Service Center.

January 27, 2006 - Received NOA1.

April 18, 2006 @1859 cst - NOA2 - APPROVED!

July 15, 2006 - Packet 4 received

September 8, 2006 - Interview - APPROVED!

October 15, 2006 - Arrived in USA

November 4, 2006 --- WEDDING!!!

April 20, 2007 - Mailed AOS

May 18, 2007 - Biometrics

July 26, 2007---GREEN CARD!(no interview)

April 13, 2009 - Mailed I-751 for Removal of Conditions

May 5, 2009 - NOA (extension approved)

May 18, 2009 - Biometrics appointment arrived today-scheduled for May 29, 2009

August 13, 2009 - Approval for removal of conditions (originally delayed due to RFE)

August 20, 2009 - 10 year green card arrived in mail

June 9, 2010</ - Treygan Isaiah is born

June, 21, 2010 - My adoption of Nathan is finalized

You can do a practice I134 and gather your tax returns (some conculates ask for last 3 years.) Also be aware that you will need a statement from your employer. Some people send a statement from their bank also - I didn't do anything other than the income letter. Good Luck - Ah yes - read the guides

thanks for the link and the info... as for the employer letter, well, I'm self-employed! Guess that's where the previous 3yrs tax forms come into play, huh? I'm anxiously awaiting NOA1 so I can get my case # and register on the USCIS website and start obsessively checking there! :whistle: Also the reason I'm checking my bank acct ridiculously often... waiting for the case number from my check once it clears! :hehe:

Any other suggestions?

i have gathered my tax returns (3 years) - but, please please please include 2005... seems i read somewhere that casa was asking for 2005...

i am learning this whole process as you are... lol
