How to track AOS status online??

Greetings,

I have received NOA for aos application (I485) It has MSC receipt number, can this case be tracked online?

I tried to add that number on this websote

https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/portfolio...omerRetrieve.do

But it doesn't recognize it. Is there a way to track the progress?

Here's the process from the USCIS website, make sure you don't include the symbol, but if you are doing it correctly, there's stilll the possibility uscis messed up, I had to wait more than a month before i could see my 485 application online, Even after i was done it was still not up to date.

To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS. It begins with three letters such as (EAC, WAC, LIN, or SRC). Dashes ("-") should be omitted when entering a receipt number. However, all other characters, including asterisks ("*"), can be included if listed on your notice as part of the receipt number. It also allows you to add it for email notifications. However, many times there's no status info available for 2 or 3 weeks and then there may never be a change (our case never changed till after we got the approval!) Good Luck
