Hi there and welcome to VJ. I am at packet 3 stage for the London Embassy, and this is what they ask for.
  • DS-230 PART 1
  • DS-156 IN DUPLICATE AND UNSIGNED BUT TO BE RETURNED
  • DS-156K

    For the Interview you will need.

  • Passport
  • Birth Certificate
  • Adoption Certificate if applicable
  • Marraige Certificate of previous marraiges
  • Divorce Decree
  • Police Report www.acpo.co.uk
  • Two colour photographs 2"x2"
  • From Sponsor Affidavit of support
  • Notorised copies of federal tax form
  • Letter stating employment from Employer
  • Statement from thier Bank.

Where to get the Police Report? ( the link takes me to a web site hosting company? )

are to be filled out by Keith and mailed back with packet, and other documents listed accompany to interview?

( aside from the notorised federal tax, statement from bank, and letter from employer, and AOS I have to obtain these, as his sponsor? )

Yes thats correct, you will need to send him those for him to take to the interview.

11/18/08 - AOS approved!!!

11/25/08 - Received welcome letter...and Green Card!!!

12/21/08 - ceremonial wedding

10/9/10 - Sent I-751 and started the fresh hell that is ROC

10/14/10 - NOA1 for ROC

10/29/10 - received appointment for Biometrics

11/22/10 - Biometrics appointment

Currently: Living blissfully with my Essex lad...

Just want to add to this...........get your police certificate application done ASAP! mine was close in arriving in time for my interview date :)

The interview in London is quick and precise..........you stand at a booth, I was called and was sworn in and it took all of 5 mins :)

30/11/2005 Medical at Edinburgh Nuffield Screening Center

03/12/2005 Packet 3 Received from Consulate!! Yipee!!

08/12/2005 X-Ray and Medical Results delivered by Courier

20/12/2005 National Police Certificate Arrives! *(TIP: it takes FULL 40 days to arrive, so apply early!)*

02/02/2006 FLY TO NEW YORK TO BE WITH MY BABY!!! WOHOOOOOO!!! so happy!

03/03/2006 Social Security Card Arrives weeeee!!

29/03/2006 AOS Journey begins - gathering paperwork to send off next week!

24/04/2006 Vaccinations: Diptheria and Vaccination Supplement form obtained

27/04/2006 AOS & EAD sent off to Chicago finally!!! weee!!!

03/05/2006 NOA for AOS & EAD recieved!

22/05/2006 Biometrics Completed :) - for AOS & EAD

18/01/2007 EAD Approved YaY!!

06/02/2007 AOS Interview - Pending once we submit tax form 05 & prior emails/

26/02/2008 2nd AOS Interview - Green Card Approved :)

17/04/2008 "Card Production ordered email'

18/04/2008 'Welcome to America Letter'

Hi Lynda... Here is the UK forum...

For whomever asked.... they need the marriage certificate for previous marriages to legally prove a name change. They ask for it with the I129F and an original is suppose to be sent along to the consulate for interview. ;)
