Good Morning Menna!!! Finally Ahmed has his visa in hand!! :dance::dance: I am dancing and crying happy tears at the same time :crying::crying: . I cannot believe it is finally here and without mistakes!!!!!! He will go today to see about his flight ticket. We are planning for him to come on Monday or Tuesday....after all our Wedding is scheduled for April 26th at 2pm. God is good all the time and answers prayers.....for those of you waiitng do not give up....keep your faith. I will continue praying for each of you. Hope all of you have a fantastic Saturday.......mine is definitely wonderful.

Also, Ahmed pointed out the visa said clearaance received on 21 March 2008......on same page as his picture...he showed me.....so that means it took them this long to get his visa printed and mailed when the security clearances were over on March 21. Embassy is so crazy.....I do not see how some can get theirs in 8 days when they are so slow with others. But our journey with Cairo is over now and we are sooooo grateful and excited. Best of luck to everyone.

With the embassy who knows! I e-mailed them and got a respond back that they would mail it soon.We had already got it! Im just so happy he will be there in time for the wedding!!

LOL yes I had another VJ member tell me they did that to her also.....sent her an email saying the could not pinpoint a date for the visa to be issued and she already had it. Cairo is definitely crazyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Did you ever find out what governate Ahmed is from????

Called DOS today and Ahmed is definitely in security checks again, so I am wondering that since his checks aren't even finished yet..........then when they are finished.........who knows.......it may be another month.....if we are lucky.

This could drag on and on and on, but in the meantime, I can live vicariously through you!!

So happy for you both and I can't wait to hear about the plane ticket buying!!!!

oops sorry Lynn I forgot to ask him. He has already went to bed now.......he had such busy day.....Was up early for his brother's engagment party preparations and then had the party. Then DHL called so he waited up on him and he is getting up to go to the ticket place tomorrow. I will try to remember to ask him tomorrow after he buys his ticket. If you do not hear from me send me message reminding me again.

I really hope yours finishes soon Lynn. I was hoping we would get the visa's close together since they had interviews on the same day.....I will keep you in my prayers.
