TGIF!!!

I'm planning on "abducting" my husband from work tomorrow after his overtime and I'll drive us all the way to Yosemite, to celebrate our 1-year anniversary. I have already made reservations to a quick romantic getaway. I'll be totally in charge.

I'm thinking of blindfolding him all the way to Yosemite. We've been both stressed too much from work and it will be a fun and spontaneous thing to do.

All the bills and obligations are all taken cared of for the week and the following week, so.... TGIF!!!

Yay weekend! What a great idea for a break Krakatoa - I haven't made it to Yosemite yet, but it is supposed to be awesome so have a wonderful time.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

My turn:

We are doing some last minute organizing, pre-packing and shopping this weekend. Monday we are shipping our car off to Germany and tuesday and wednesday, our householdgoods are getting packed up and shipped as well.

Since I am more or less on bedrest, I'll watch hubby from the couch and tell him what else needs to be done... :innocent:

Thanks for the link! A lot of those look great! I miss Italian movies, since I've been back I've hardly seen any. I don't have Netflix, so that's probably why...I need to check that out.

Enjoy!

Enjoy!

I would DEFINITELY recommend Netflix for this reason...Adriano's English isn't so hot, so I try to seek out the Italian movies so that we can watch together, and I don't have to translate and explain everything to him...I find that in general it is quite difficult to find movies that even have Italian subtitles  but Netflix has many many many foreign films and it's really cheap too!

Buona fortuna!!!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

TGIF, but everything is a bit lonely without your mate. My husband is 12,000km away Bar-B-Que-ing with his dad and brother. I wish I was back in Germany doing the same, or at least that my husband was here already! Oh, well. Still have plenty of waiting ahead of me. My weekend will consist of lawn mowing and car washing... and lots of VJ reading. :)
