hey i think u shud go to be with ur fiance only if she feels it will help her to be strong and confident during the interview.however dont risk ur job if ur company is not giving u leve..call her as often as possible before the interview and gv her all the moral support she needs. also nt sure if they allow anyone else in the interview..(hv nt experienced this yet so nt the rite person to advise)

all the best and am sure the interview will go well.

DS3032 accepted - Aug 24th 2009 Yeah email from NVC DS3032 processed:)

IV bill paid - Aug 25th 2009

DS230 sent to NVC - Sep 2nd 2009

Guys, I am leaving US this Saturday for Mumbai. My fiancee's interview is on May 12th, Monday. Wish me good luck!

Please offer me any advice or suggestion you may have - is there anything I need to do before I go.

I am taking:

pay-stub since VFS submission

bank statement covering 1-yr.

phone logs since VFS submission

I would gratefully listen any interview advice/caution.

Thanks again to everybody in VJ forum. I keep wondering why I got a lawyer!

Sounds like you are prepared. :yes: Bring copies of any paperwork, everything relating to the visa process like copies of the I-129F application you gave etc., if your fiancee doesn't have that.

Good Luck!!! :) :) Sounds like you have everything together - now you just need to relax and enjoy your time in India with your sweetie! I will be thinking of you on Monday, please try and post as soon as possible after you have the intervew! :) When are you returning to the US afterwards? We head out on Monday, May 19th!! WOO HOO!!

Received Email Confirmation of Interview Date on March 5th: April 3rd!

SUCCESS - VISA APPROVED ON APRIL 3RD!! :) :)

POE Detroit - May 19, 2008

Applied for SSN: June 5th - Received Card: June 12th

Received Green Gard: June 12th

Driver's License: July 28th

Move to St. Louis/Ritesh starts his job: August 5th

12-23-2007 : NOA2 approved

12-27-2007 : NVC Received

01-10-2008 : Case forwarded to New Delhi Embassy by NVC.

01-14-2008 : New Delhi Embassy received our file from NVC.

01-24-2008 : Submitted Packet 3 at New Delhi Embassy.

02-06-2008 : Submitted docs at VFS.

02-21-2008 : Interview- visa was approved pending security.

02-25-2008 : Called NVC and they said Visa is approved. VFS- they didnt get it yet.

02-27-2008: Visa in HAND!!!!

03-08-2007: Arrived at POE(JFK)

May 12-2008- Got the Marriage License

May 19-2008- Married!!!

AOS

06-06-2008 Mailed out AOS

06-08-2008 Delivered to Lockbox

06-16-2008 NOA for EAD, AP, AOS(dated June 12)

Hello Everybody,

We just want to let everybody know that we got the visa. Interview was easy, and we were able to collect the passport on the same day. I will write more about interview

experience later.

We sincerely thank everyone who helped us in the process - ELW, Neha, Jigi, CarolynRitesh, RSA, SecondStage, ManishManya and many others. You guys are great.
