Hi

Regarding the police reports.. I need to have police report from all the countries that I have been or only from my home country.

As regarding me I have been to many nations of the world and its almost difficult to get police records from all the country that I have been. But its not the problem to get police records from my home country.

According to my understanding if some one stays in other country regularly for 6 months and in that case he/she need to have police report from that country. But if some one has break and have not stayed regularly in other countries for 6 months but in total he has stayed for 6 months.. so in that case do police record need from that country too.???

does any one has clear idea regarding this????

thank you

Hi, I'm on the understanding that you have to get a police certificate from every country you've been in for 6+ months since you were 16 years old ..... I presume that's 6 months without a break.

Hopefully someone else can clarify this matter further, and also let me know if I have to get a police record from the US as I've also lived there too .... or is it only countries outside of the US ???

it says clearly, all countries, but USA

regarding accumulating 6 months it is best to clarifiy that with NVC and US Embassy in your country

but how can they know where you have lived and for how long?? How can you prove you lived there 5 months for example, of that you lived there not 6 consecutive months...

g-325a and a possibly from a review of the passport but mainly it is the honor system

the passport changes every 10 years and for EU citizens it does not count... no need for a passport to travel and live in the EU... Also, the G-325A asks for the last 5 years... From the age of 16 can be a LOT of years for some people!
