My fiance speaks English very well (except for some pretty common grammatical errors) but I have heard that the employees at the Consulate also speak Spanish. Does it matter in the least whether his K-1 interview is conducted in Spanish or English? I have heard that some of the consulars have pretty poor Spanish so in that case it seems like it may be just as well for my fiance to request that the interview take place in English. Any thoughts?

One week till the interview..........Yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :star:

Most COs should speak the native language fluently to conduct the interviews. The CO will probably start in Spanish and if that doesn't work for you fiancée he can say that he can speak English as well. Either one should work.
