Hi there! This year(July), I will need to remove conditions because I came here as a K-1 visa holder. My husband is my sponsor/petitioner.

I have a job, now. However, my husband lost his job 2 weeks ago. He's been applying but still waiting for interview/s. I'm just curious, will it affect my immigration(green card) application if he applies for unemployment benefits?

Thanks a lot. Godbless!

No! His (the USC's) unemployment is irrelevant at this point in the process.

At I751 removing of conditions they want to once again look at the validity of the marriage and a shared married life. While co-mingling of finances e.g. like shared bank account is something USCIS looks out for in judging your case, it is not interested anymore in how financially stable you are. There won't be another affidavit of support like for K1 and AOS.

So again, unemployment is not an issue when removing conditions.
