 Forgive me.. I went a little majnouna without warrant - I got home today and found the letter in the mail box. Poor postal service and NVC representatives - even the poor marine at the embassy today lol

 It was there when I got home. :)

But now I have another question (Don't I always? LOL )

In the packet there was :

1.) the Appointment letter : stating case forwarded to embassy, date of interview, and please take this paper with you to the medical exam and the embassy.

2.) Vaccination requirements

3.) Reminder about original documents

and

4.) "notice to visa applicants" (This is the paper that has me confused )

It says :

Jihed must bring the following to the visa interview :

1. Any original documents that were requested by the NVC but were not submitted

2. The medical examination results if not submitted by the doctor to the Embassy directly - in a sealed envelope

3. The correct size and number of photographs ( I don't know what this means, we sent them with the DS 230 last month, but he's going to have 4 more done just as a CYA thing)

4. Valid passport for all traveling applicants.

* The following table lists the documents requested by the NVC and whether or not the NVC recieved them. Please note even though the applicant may have provided the NVC with a copy of the document, the applicant is still required to bring the original document to the visa interview .

Document Names & Document Status

OF 169 - Form not Needed

OF 230 - I - "Yes/document complete/reviewed"

OF 230 II - "Yes / document complete/reviewed"

Passport- "Yes / Document complete/ Reviewed"

Birth Certificate - Original document Recieved

Adoption - form not needed

marriage certificate - original document recieved

marriage termination - form not needed

court records - form not needed

financial evidence - yes/document complete/reviewed

custody papers - form not needed

military records - form not needed

tunisia police certificate - original document recieved

IRS waiver - form not needed

Photograph - Yes/ Document complete / reviewed

Many of the listed documents say "Original document recieved" so that's a no brainer - I know I sent it and they are acknowledging they do have it - but the ones that say " Yes/Document Complete/Reviewed" I sound like an #######, but that means it's an immigration form (like ds 230, i 864, etc ) that I've already filled out and submitted..... right?? Meaning that I need to take no further action and he does not need to bring anything?

Inshallah, if post goes fast enough, I sent him a "book" lol a three inch three ringer binder with our entire lives for the past 3 years neatly organized by year, subject, and content - including photographs of all my trips, our engagement party, wedding, as well as my family in the US and the back section was copies of every single submission I ever made to USCIS or NVC and all relevant contact information from them - so he has it all anyway but I"m just still kinda curious does it look like we need to get/ do anything else ?

At this point : He's calling the doctor tomorrow and inshallah going to tunis on Monday for his exam. He requested an updated police record to take with him to the interview, just as precaution. And he's getting 4 more passport photos to take also in case they ask, even though we already sent them 4.

I am : Sitting tight, praying and saying inshallah, and kinda curious about what he'll do lol - now that it's all on him - I've done everything, well he paid but that's what men do right? hehe kidding!! I swear (i'm gonna get bashed for that one) Truly the process has just been too confusing too him and I'm Type A so i took over all the way - and now i'm biting my nails about him moving his butt and getting this done - he has 15 days and counting! lol

And also I thought this post would be helpful for others who got an interview date from NVC before they ever saw information in the mail - and all those going through Tunis Embassy.

Hmmmm  Ashley needs some Xanax lol
