Police certificate translated or not in english????

Hi to everybody,

just to make sure 100%, the police certificate must be translated into

english or can be accepted just in the language of the benefificary

(for exemple in french, italian, german, spanish, portuguese, dutch

language) when presented to the interview?

Does anybody, that got already the interiew, know about it?

As long as the documents are in either the language of your country (Italian) or English, you do not have to get it translated. Now if you were going to the interview with a German Police Record then, yes, you have to have it translated since they need it in Italian or English

Now it's more clear to me, since I thought that everything had to be in english....... but

since the interview will be here in Italy, and actually I'll be presenting only the police

certificate from Italy (since I have never been anywhere else more than 1 year, besides Italy)

then I'll be ok presenting it in my language!!!!!

I was just wonderinf that today. and yes no need to have it translate for the interview. but if you decide to file the AOS you'll need your birth certificate translate in English. good luck with your visa journey

You might check specifically with the consulate/embassy in Italy, or some other Italy members here on VisaJourney.

I know in our case in Vietnam, we are required to have the police certificate and birth certificate translated into English. However, that could be purely specific to Vietnam.
