We should all plan a VJ expedition/meetup in the Great Outback! Boo-yah could be our guide. :)

Well you could go to Death Valley. Pretty much the same thing ;)

I think DV is cooler, though to be fair I've only been to Urulu/Alice Springs area in Oz. Nothing beats the American West for sheer spectacle in my book.

We have clean up Australia day which works. Where people volunteer to clean public places.

The cleanest roads I have seen, in the US, are in West Virginia. Why you may ask. Their fine for littering is $25,000!!

Thanks for the vote of confidence in the State where I was born and raised, but.......

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litter

In March 2008, "The American State Litter Scorecard," ranking the fifty U.S. states on overall quality/effectiveness of litter removal programs, was presented at the American Society for Public Administration National Conference. Best states included Vermont, Minnesota, New Jersey, Iowa, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Wyoming--all outside the Sunbelt. Worst states included Mississippi, Nevada, Louisiana, West Virginia, Alabama, Arkansas, New Mexico and South Carolina--most being inside the Sunbelt.

I'm still trying to find the maximum fine. So far I'm coming up with $1000.00.

P.S. I hate litterbugs! I really believe seeing this commercial at a very young age is the reason.

Death Valley is gorgeous. Australia sounds like a polluted, congested dump full of obnoxious retards, if VJ membership is representative :)

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Washington DC = No beaches.

No beach. No point.

There sure is a point when comparing NEW Jersey to AUS..

So why bring it up then. I cannot talk about the US because New Jersey does not reflect the US... Loser Armpit state.
