Hi just waiting. Can you let me know your I-864 cover sheet is the same Ds 230 you print out this morning. Please post your cover sheet ( I-864) if you have it. Thank you. Good luck to you.

Congratulations.

I would call the NVC though and make sure that the payment actually migrates to their system. They have no record of my payment but my situation could be different since the online system is still showing NOT PAID for me.

I was able to print out my coversheet online today as well, I am still waiting on the hubbys ds-230 and documents to get delivered tomorrow so it'll be ready to go then. I just received my I-864 barcode sheet in the mail yesterday and mailed it. Do you think if the ds-230 is approved before the I-864 is reviewed it could cause a weird RFE? I don't think NVC has had this situation yet, where the IV fee bill and ds-230 are submitted at the same time or before the I-864.

One should not affect the other. As per the NVC flowsheet these two items follow two tracks. The DS-230 is generated by paying the IV fee bill and the AOS is generated after paying the AOS fee bill. Your case will be completed after both are received and reviewed. You should not get a RFE if the DS-230 is received at the same time or before the AOS.

Good luck and quit worrying. You're one of the lucky ones who are able to pay online and get your barcode online instead of having to wait for the mail to some or having to generate your own.:thumbs:

Oh my gosh this new system is beyond fantastic!!! Just think, it would've taken 1-2 weeks to get the IV bill, another week to process and generate the DS-230, and another week to receive it. And that's not counting how much time you will save with AOS stuff. This is amazing!!! It will definitely process CR1/IR1 visas faster than K3 visas for many countries for sure!

I have been reading alot about this online payment......now I think, I should have waited a few more days, before sending our IV fee bill off in the mail.

Best of luck to all that is using the online payment site.

Hi Justwaiting, could you help me out with this - how could I get my DS-230 coversheet online? ( was it Jame's Shortcut? I couldn't paste my barcode on my DS-230 coversheet using jame's shortcut... ) and also I wonder where to check the case status such as checking out the bills paid or not like you do... is it the same website and case number we used to check our case status when it was in USCIS after NOA1? Thanks so much for the helping...

Hi Ling, justwaiting is able to print the coversheet after the payment for the IV bill as been processed. First you have to obtain your IIN number (Individual Invoice Number) from one of the NVC operators. Have your case number, your birthday and your spouse's birthday ready for confirmation. ONce you obtain the IIN number you go to this website : NVC Online Payment Website and you can then log on with you as the petitioner (if that's who you are), your NVC case number and your IIN number. There, you are able to view the AOS (I-864 Bill) and the IV Bill. Your IV bill won't be available until you have either emailed in your choice of agent for the DS-3032 form, or physically send the paper in to the NVC. After your choice of agent is approved, then you can pay the IV bill once it's processed in the system. After a couple days, you will see the status as "PAID" and at that time you can print the coversheet for the DS-230. All this is actually more pratical that James's shortcuts. James's shortcuts let you know to gather all your information in advanced, but with these online payments, everything moves just as fast.

Hope that helps.
