I received my NOA in early March of 2008.

I just got my 2007 Federal Income Tax completed yesterday.

I am trying to get my paperwork together for Visa Interview in Manilla, I am Petitioner. I plan to fly back to PI for Visa Interview with my fiance , when it is time.

Question:

1.) Do I only need I-134 form filled out, for Interview in PI?

2.) I-134, Do I only need "Copy of Last Income Taxs Returned Filed". I do meet/exceed Guidelines for 2007.

3.) I-134, Is it correct I only need my last year, and not 3 years of taxes.

4.) I-864, I called US Embassy and was told this would only be needed if I was doing Visa for a "Family" member (Parent, Sibling, Etc). Person had PI accent and it was rather hard for me to understand her. Is this correct?

Question:

1.) Do I only need I-134 form filled out, for Interview in PI? I-134 is for K visas (K1, K2, K3, K4)...so, yes.

2.) I-134, Do I only need "Copy of Last Income Taxs Returned Filed". I do meet/exceed Guidelines for 2007. Depends on what your consulate wants

3.) I-134, Is it correct I only need my last year, and not 3 years of taxes. Depends on the consulate

4.) I-864, I called US Embassy and was told this would only be needed if I was doing Visa for a "Family" member (Parent, Sibling, Etc). Person had PI accent and it was rather hard for me to understand her. Is this correct? I-864 is for immigrant visas (IR1/CR1). You will need to fill it out when you do AOS.

My understanding is you need to prepare the I-134 not the I-864. With the I-134 you should include the last three years if possible, a letter from your employer and your most recent pay stubs. You've got some other things to remember such as an updated intent to marry, evidence of a bona fide relationship (just as you did for the I-129F), as well as have available (should they ask) original documents for which you submitted copies with your I-129F. The guides here are very helpful.

And So It Begins......

Here is PI info:

k. EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134.

Question:

1.) Do I only need I-134 form filled out, for Interview in PI?

-- Yes, it should be notarized but since you are going to the interview with your fiancee (the beneficiary), others say you need not to notarize it as you will sign it in front of the CO. I cannot confirm that it is not necessary to have the I-134 notarized since most of us here followed what we were told, which is to have a notarized I-134.

2.) I-134, Do I only need "Copy of Last Income Taxs Returned Filed". I do meet/exceed Guidelines for 2007.

-- You can submit just the copy in the Philippines.

3.) I-134, Is it correct I only need my last year, and not 3 years of taxes.

-- They will only require you to submit the latest year but most of us here got the other 2 years as back up in case it will be asked.

4.) I-864, I called US Embassy and was told this would only be needed if I was doing Visa for a "Family" member (Parent, Sibling, Etc). Person had PI accent and it was rather hard for me to understand her. Is this correct?

-- For K1, you will need to use the I-134.
