Hey you guys! It feels like when we all were filing the K1 and chatting away again! We will apply in September to remove the conditions.

Has any of our group immigrated their husband's children from Ja? We are having a terrible time with Oneil's daughter. When Jamaica converted their b/c over to the new style, they dropped his name off as the father. We have been trying to get this corrected since October 2007. I am so frustrated...we are frustrated. (They converted all these just about the time Oneil immigrated, right before.) It's an ongoing battle. I finally found someone with some help at the registrar's so hopefully we will finally get somewhere in the next few weeks.

We are having the exact same problem. My husbands name is not on his daughters new birth certificate and we have been trying for months to get it. My MIL has been to the registrars office several times and finally the JP told her to have my husband call and speak with him and he would put it on there. So he called and spoke to him and everthing sounded ok and my MIL would receive the new bc in 3 days (we paid for express shipping).....well that was 3 weeks ago and still nothing...rrrrrrrrr!! I feel your pain...

I know, but you will get through this. Removing conditions should be relatively painless if you have all your documentation in order - the only thing that was hard for us was the 11 month wait. :girlwerewolf2xn:

Oh, I'm ready. And, I am the most orderly person I know. It's almost pretty the way I have it all organized. It's just my nature to be overly ####### and overly nervous.

Tell Julie Congrats

We probably won't have ours until next year. VSC is taking a year to process I-1751. Good luck everyone.

Funny how the Lord works...I was telling you all that I wanted to file this month but things have been getting held up. Well long story short, we will be moving again around the middle of next month and I figure it makes no sense to move and have to contact USCIS about the address change when we can just include the paperwork for our new place in as additional proof and then send off. Any thoughts on this?

Same here applied for passports for the kids and had them in less than two weeks.

We moved right before sending in our application. I filled out the address change form online and included it with our application along with the new lease. The online form is simple and you don't have to mail in anything. IMO it matter's not. If you really want to move, do it. If you know your new address, change it. When you send in your lifting application it will match what they already have on file. Won't hurt anything either way.

FYI

I filed Damien's change of address online last week. You have to fill out an AR-11 online and if you have pending applications, you have to change your address for that as well. So that's two different forms online. Then the sponsor (me) has to fill out a I-865 change of address as well. This form has be to mailed in 30 days. We'll see how it goes...
