My wife and I sent in our AOS packet 25 days ago and we still have not recieved a notification that they recieved/ began processing the forms. I know that the money orders were cashed. I had the bank trace the activity of the money orders and saw that they were cashed about a week after they were mailed in.

Is it time to worry yet?

Nope, not time to worry yet. It was about the same for us (my 'now wife' is also from Thailand and we had our interview in Detroit as well). For us, our checks were cashed about 3 weeks after we sent them in, and then I received the NOA1/Biometrics Appointment Letter/Interview Appointment Letter all on the same day about 6 weeks into the process. I'm sure you'll get all the same notifications very soon!

Good luck! And, good for you to bring your financee here at the end of winter! <haha> My fiancee witnessed her first 'Detroit winter' and it almost killed her! She's ready for WARMTH!
