I know I'm being impatient here. I filed for AOS last March 27, 2008. I already received my Receipt notice and even got my Biometrics Appointment Notice but until now I still unable to check my case status online. Everytime I enter my application number it says Validation Error(s). Are there any March applicants that has the same case with mine? Is this normal that they just don't update their system regularly?

Some cases never get put online.

You are more likely to start seeing it and having it updated around the time of the biometrics.

I used to check it everyday. Now it's every month because there really is nothing to see. Keep in mind that what matters the most is what you receive by snail mail.

08.2006: Entered with a B-2 visa.

07.06.07: Civil Wedding

07.17.2008 AOS approved with interview. It took 367 Days!

11.08.08: Big family wedding

09.18.09-10.03.09: First trip to France with Hubby

I filed in the middle of Feb and one of my cases is still not online. I called the (mis) information line yesterday, and they said my case IS in their system, they can see it, but that for some reason it just missed getting put into the online tracking system. He said it might never appear (basically, if the next time the officer looks at the physical paperwork, if he/she realizes that it hasn't been added it will get added). But he said it is in there and all good. He called it an "inconvenient glitch". I'll say! Luckily for me it's my I-130 (I am filing concurrently), so there aren't any updates or anything I'll miss. The I-485 will get "touched" a lot more than the I-130, so there is more chance it'll get added. Maybe after your Biometrics?

Nov 30 2007 - I enter US as a tourist to spend the ski season with my sweetie and figure out what we both want outta life - we plan on ending up in Canada, but...

Jan 30 2008 - We get married in Vegas! We decide to stay in the US.

Feb 08 2008 - File I-130, I-485, AP and EAD

Feb 11 2008 - Package arrives in Chicago

Feb 19 2008 - Receive NOA 1 for everything except I-485. NOA date Feb 15th

Feb 19 2008 - Touch I-130, AP, EAD

Feb 21 2008 - Receive I-485 NOA 1. NOA Date Feb 15th

Feb 22 2008 - Receive Biometrics notice, dated Feb 20th, for appointment March 11th

Feb 27 2008 - Walk in to Denver field office and have Biometrics taken early as the 11th March I'll be away

Apr 16 2008 - EAD card production ordered

Apr 16 2008 - AP approval sent

Apr 21 2008 - AP received in mail

Apr 21 2008 - EAD card production email received again - strange

Apr 24 2008 - EAD card approval notice sent email

We filed end of October and my I-485 is still not on line. I don't think it ever will be. We called several times, made an infopass, and were told we are still in system (still waiting on security check). Our AP and EAP came in mail first then on line. Most people here at Visa Journey can get to check it on line after biometrics, but there some of us who just get the wrong person handling our case.

Guys, Finally I am able to view my case status online, the day after my Biometrics appointment which was very quick. I was an hour ahead of my schedule and i was finished for less than 10minutes.

I hope you will be able to view your case status very soon. Let's just be patient.
