The list is for your own use, meaning it's your personal check list. Nothing is checked on mine either it's normal. Just go through the list and figure out what you need to bring and what they already have... Though I've read on this forum that you should take copies of everything that you sent them, in case they misplaced it...

Right, always read all forms carefully. If you had, you would have seen the indication the list was provided to assist you.

We just had our interview a week ago. You might be surprised what they ask for even though you have already sent it. I would take everything. In our case she asked for copies of my divorce decree and some of my wifes previously filed things. All stuff they already have.

I hear different stories on the interview. Ours was a grilling. It lasted 1.5 hours and we were asked everything including things I never would have dreamed of such as long detailed discussions about what happened in each of our prevous K-1's (second for both of us). I have heard of others where there is not much asked other than how the weather is outside.

12/14/2006 Applied for K-1 with request for Waver for Multiple filings within 2 years.

Sorry you got grilled but at least it is over for 2 years! Got my congress person involved now. as my step daughter would age out in July.
