Is there any explanation as to why we have not received our NOA1, today marks 2 months for me.

Initially, I waited for the I-130 NOA1 for 2 months. So basically I am 4 months into the process with nothing to show but 1 NOA for the I-130.

This is just ridiculous; I hope someone can shine some light on this.

Thanks and good luck to everyone and their journey.

:time:

Based on timelines and my own case, the date USCIS physically received your I-130 is the date to keep track of. They use this date to prioritize when files are processed.

According to USCIS processing dates and other member actions, they appear to be working on September-November dates at CSC as a general rule of thumb.

As long as there is no problems or difficulties with your petitions, then this is the best way to guess when your turn arrives.

Discrepancies, RFE and any problem can delay approvals.

I hope this helps....

Best of luck in a quick journey

Is there a number where we can call and talk to an actual Immigration Officer and not a Customer Representative...

We all call the Customer Service number, but very unlikely you will get an officer even if you request to speak to one.

1-800-375-5283 Good luck if you call.

Also how do you know your application got touched?

Lemon, go to USCIS website (www.uscis.gov).

Click on "my case is pending",

click on "Processing times and case status",

then click on "Case status online".

If you then click on "online", then you can check latest status of your case, using your reference number (starting with eg. EAC).

Or click on "register" and create an account, so you can access your cases like that (handy if you have K3, for example, since I-130 and I-129F appl. have different reference numbers).

When the last updated date changes, you can see that your case has been "touched" (though I wouldn't focus too much on that; some get quite a few touches without being approved soon after, and others get approved without ever seeing touches prior).

Take care!

Dear All,

I am one of the Feb K3 filers. I got by NOA1 just a few days after I filed to CSC. That was lucky and quicky comparing to waiting for nearly 3 months for my CR1's NOA1. Since my cases were able to be view online, I haven't had a touch. I just want to introduce myself to this Feb Team, because I am on the same boat as you all. It is exciting yet depressing seeing many people who filed around us got approved before we did. I don't post a lot VJ, but I do come and read other people's posts like 20times a day. I also found myself checking USCIS's like 100times a day. No sure if anyone here is as crazy as I am, but I hope we will all hear good news soon!

I finally got my K3 NOA1 yesterday, exactly after 57 days from filing it. Filing date was the 20th of February and receipt date was the 21st.

Also, when I logged online to add this to my online profile on USCIS website, my I-130 and my K3, both have been touched yesterday, the 16th. I hope that is a good sign and I hope my I-130 does not get approved before my K3.

Good luck to all my friends, our journey continues….

Kurt.
