LOL...the funny story...

I didnt wear pants with pockets today and there was NO way I was leaving my cellphone ANYWHERE soooo...I put the ringer on what I thought was vibrate and placed it inside my bra (I figured, why not double the pleasure ;) ). Well, I put it on silent...never heard it ring til I heard this "beep beep" letting me know I had missed a call. It was JOEL!!!!! Thank god there was no one around to see me digging inside my bra for my phone...

ok guys heres my experience.

first of all, last night, the inbound aircraft was delayed. that made us delayed. we left Halifax at about the time we were supposed to land in Montreal. So I got to the hotel early this morning. For those that will or have considered La Tour Centre Ville.... the room are NOT worth $135 but the conveniance of where it is is definately worth it!

Ok so I get there this morning. While I'm in the waiting room I realize I don't have my passport pictures. So now I'm panicking. I ask if I can go back to my hotel and try to find it and they agree. I search everywhere and they are NOT THERE! So now I'm almost freaking! So I go back and we all go upstairs. Once I talk to the lady at window 6 I explain to her my situation that I lost the passport pictures. She says don't worry! She sends me to see Tony on rue Ste. Catherine. he does two passport pictures for me at a low price (i give him a tip because he saved my #######). So I go back with the passport pictures and the nice lady says thanks now have a seat. I have a seat then my number is called to a very small room with a very polite and cheerful man behind a glass. He asks me how Karen and I met. THAT'S IT!! That's ALL he asked! We talked a bit about AOS, AP, and EAD (he says he is not aware that JFK still issues EAD upon entry but he wasn't really sure).

And upon landing in Halifax this afternoon, I asked the F/A if I could have a peek at the office, and the captain agrees to show me the flight deck. Had a nice conversation with him!

Mary was right.... cakewalk!

Seems like only yesterday that KarenCee was bouncing around like she'd won the lottery after finding out about the NOA2.

Speaking of phones, here's an aprox 15 year old video of when Karen and Joel started dating. :P

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

.png

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!
