hi , we have a question concerning the NOA1. check was cashed and we got notice of receipt for our package first week Feb 2008.but till now we didnt hear from CSC. does it sounds normal. thanks. Belrach.

Hi Rachbel,

Did you actually receive the NOA1? If the cheque was cashed I know you can track your reference number from it. The process for CSC can take anything from 4 to 6 + months

we didnt get the NOA1 .we received just a notice of receipt called I-797 , it includes a number for our file. is that what we call NOA1? thanks much.

Yep it is :)

You can use the number on the receipt to check your status on the USCIS website (https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp) but keep in mind they're very bad in updating their site lately so it might take a while until you see changes...

N400 Timeline:

12/14/11 - Sending out N400 package

12/19/11 - Received by USCIS

12/21/11 - NOA date

12/22/11 - Check cashed

12/27/11 - Received NOA

02/06/12 - Received yellow letter (pre-interview case file review)

03/13/12 - Placed in line for interview scheduling (3 yr anniversary)

03/17/12 - Received interview letter

04/17/12 - Interview - No decision, application under further review

04/17/12 - Biometrics

04/25/12 - Placed in line for oath scheduling (so I'm approved yay!)

04/27/12 - Received oath ceremony date

05/09/12 - Oath ceremony!!

Too bad for you and many others we got stuck at CSC. Vermont is handing out visa's hand over fist, but CSC is not. I'm trying not to sound bitter lol Basically, sit back and relax because it's going to be a while. Good luck to you.

6/30/08-NOA2!!!

7/7/08-NVC Received!!!
