Saw This Truck On My way to work this morning...

Took a photo of it with my cell phone. He had speakers (see in pic, just above the front windshield) blasting out the song, Dixieland. The signs on the back said something about how CalTrans and the police cannot stop his liberty and freedom of speech. This was northbound on the 405, just north of Long Beach.

There's a truck just like that in Indianapolis, except the changed-daily signs say things like "God Hates Homosexuals" and "Catholics Will Burn in Hell!" and such.

It's about like the La Rouchees. They sued the US government to be able to set up tables in front of US government buildings. It was like running a gauntlet to get inside the post office in my neighborhood. I never stopped to listen to their lunatic rants, but some folks are too nice to tell them to shove it. I would see old folks that got ambushed and were naive enough to stop. And then they were too polite to tell them to "#### off". Oh well...live and learn. These people are pests and should be banned from harrassing people on public property.

If you get out into the world you see all kinds of stuff. I've seen people with a beef put up highly inflamatory signs on their property to protest. I saw a billboard on the side of the I-10 outside of Beaumont, TX that warned people not to travel to Costa Rica because it was a rip off. Another billboard on I-10 outside of Vidor, TX accused the sheriff's department and DA in a coverup of his daughter's murder.

People have a right to their opinions as long as they don't harrass people to express it. La Rouchees and Hare Karishna's in public places suck.
