A while back someone posted a VOIP site that had international calling plans that include countries and select cities around the world.

I am interested in this because Lima was one of the cities.

If anyone know the name of the company or the link or even the link to the message thread it was in I would be greatly appreciative. I spent the last 2 hours looking over the threads and have not found the message.

Thanks

Richard

try this bunch.

http://www.mobilecaller.com/

i checked the usa to lima price, 6.3 cents a minute (mobile clear plan)

i have it to talk to nessa in brazil, i prefer the plan that has the one minute rounding/no monthly fee

you call a 1-800 number here in the states, they use caller id to verify the phone number(s) you have put in online and ask for a 3 digit security code.

you then dial the number to peru and off you go.

It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

If your SO has high speed internet send her a Magic Jack. It costs $50 and that includes 1 year of long distance. There are no monthly charges. You sign the jack up for a number in the US it will be as if she has a US phone in Lima. It works just like a regular phone.
